Vista’s STUPID Snipping Tool error, and how to fix it!

Ever used Vista’s snipping tool (a very handy, yet unstable tool that takes selective screenshots, click here for more info)?  Ever had it fail on you with a stupid error saying: “The snipping tool is not working on your computer right now.”

The solution?  It tells you to reboot.  THIS IS THE MOST RETARDED SOLUTION EVER.  I’m sorry, your elbow hurts?  START YOUR LIFE OVER.  Please Microsoft, we know you can do better.

Luckily, Matt Refghi has a solution for 99% of us out there.  Right-click on your taskbar, open up Task Manager, find the SnippingTool.exe process, right-click on it, and hit End Process.

After that, go ahead and run your snipping tool again.  It should work!  If it doesn’t, punch your computer in the face.

All credit goes to Matt for this one, I just wanted to repost it here because his solution is a lifesaver.
